We had an amazing experience. Me and a friend went together for a surfing lesson with mike. Mike is a very nice and relaxt guy. For me it was the first time. The instructions were very clear and he gives a lot of feedback to help you succeed. After i tried it a few times i was able to stand on the board while surfing the waves. This experience is really worth it and defenitely not the last time for me on a surfboard. We hope to come back!

We was working in Bilbao, We had 2 down days and decided to get an airbnb in Mundaka and after seeing the ocean we had to get out there. Being beginners we got recommended Mike. A few messages on WhatsApp and we was booked in for the next morning. Mike met us at 8am, got us suited and booted and relaxed. As soon as I was on the board paddling out I just knew I would enjoy it. Managed to catch a wave on my first attempt. We got individual tips and pointers whilst we was out there and it was honestly just the best experience I’ve had this year. If you are in Mundaka, Mike is your man. Get out there and enjoy it. It was our first time surfing, and we loved it! Mike is a great coach and it really helps that the surf class takes place in a small group. Mundaka beach seems to be a good spot for beginners too, since the sand beach is easy to access and (in our case) it was possible for us to stand in the water most of the time.

Mike is an outstanding surf instructor. My girlfriend and I contacted him on short notice during the offseason via Instagram. He was very flexible and taught us for two hours each for five days, just after we arrived in Mundaka.
